Description
The water tower on Beeches Road in Ladybank was built in 1908. It is a tall structure made of glazed red brick, featuring a water tank in the roof and measuring three bays by four bays. The design includes giant round-headed arches with alternating voussoirs and Doric brick pilasters. There are windows on two levels, with round-headed windows above, cillbands, and a decorative bracket treatment over the entrance. The ground floor has an inset white brick pattern and a robust arched entry. At the top, there is a bracket cornice leading to a tall parapet, which has brick panels that conceal the water tank.
