Description
East Block at Ladybank Station is a single-storey building constructed after 1862. It features a brick and timber structure with a pitched slate roof, end bargeboards that include a tie-beam and pendant, and brick stacks topped with moulded cornices. The building has a flat-roofed canopy adorned with a fretted wooden valance. Inside, there is a fine panelled screen separating the offices and waiting rooms, which includes moulded vertical and horizontal members and continuous glazing. The original fireplaces and fittings are still present inside. The east block is connected to the main west block by what is likely an original subway.
