Description

Melville Muir Cottages in Collessie are an isolated row of traditional one-storey cottages, likely built in the second half of the 18th century. They are constructed from rubble and covered with pantiles, featuring skew gables and some dressed freestone. The cottages have low fronts facing south, with single small-paned windows and plain boarded doors, all supported by timber lintels. Stone chimneys are also present.
