Description
9-10 Main Street in Longniddry are a symmetrical pair of single-storey cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. Each cottage features three bays and is constructed from squared and snecked stugged ashlar with ashlar dressings. There is a door at the center of each cottage, with windows located in the inner bays. The outer bays have enlarged bipartite windows made with concrete and timber mullions, as well as concrete lintels. The cottages have sash and case windows with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roofs are covered with red pantiles and have grey slate easing courses, along with ashlar coped skews and coped ashlar stacks.
