Description
Burnside Cottages in Wanlockhead are likely from the late 18th century. They consist of a symmetrical pair of adjoining single-storey cottages, each with two bays. The cottages feature inner doors and outer windows. They are constructed from whitewashed rubble with ashlar dressings, have straight skews, and end stacks. The roofs are covered with uniform slates, and there is a low addition to each gable.
