Description
Old Manse in Wanlockhead is a former manse built in 1850 and renovated in 1983. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure made of rubble with ashlar dressings. The south elevation features a central gabled porch and 12-pane sash windows, with symmetrically placed chimney stacks. The roof is piended and covered with graded slates. There are two-bay flanks and a small rear wing that is now connected to an outbuilding.
The property is partly enclosed by a rubble-built wall topped with simple iron railings, and it has square ashlar gatepiers with pyramidal caps.
