Description
The building is a manse located on Pitlessie Road in Bow of Fife, dated 1844, as noted on a pump at the north-west corner. It was renovated in 1928 by the architects Gillespie & Scott. This two-storey, three-bay manse features a small single-storey wing to the west that is recessed. The exterior is constructed of snecked squared and stugged rubble, accented with long and short ashlar dressings. The central entrance consists of a corniced and panelled door topped with a tall fanlight. Throughout the building, there are sash windows with lying-pane glazing. The roof has straight skews, corniced end stacks, and is covered with slate. The west wing has a single sash window with lying-panes. A pump is set into the north-west wall. To the north, there is a detached coachhouse built of rubble, integrated into the rubble garden walls, which features three square-headed entrances and a slated roof. Square ashlar gatepiers are located to the east.
