Description

18th century. 2 former 3-bay, single storey cottages (now one 6-bay cottage). Harled; stone surrounds to windows, doors, eaves course and right quoin.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central door to left cottage, single flanking windows. Central door to right cottage (now window); single flanking windows. All hug eaves course. National Trust for Scotland (NTS) plaque to far right.

NE ELEVATION: attached to 9 Mid Causeway.

SE ELEVATION: 2 windows to left; 2 longer central windows, window to right; door to far right.

SW ELEVATION: plain gable. Replacement timber gate connects elevation to rubble garden wall to right.

GARDEN WALL

Rubble wall extends eastwards from gate at SW gable and turns north-eastwards to enclose garden.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Timber boarded door. Pitched roof; clay pantiles. Corniced ridge and SW gable stack; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen, 2001.
