11 Mid Causeway, Culross

11 Mid Causeway in Culross is an 18th-century building that was originally two separate single-storey cottages, now combined into one six-bay cottage. The exterior is harled, featuring stone surrounds on the windows, doors, eaves course, and the right quoin.

On the northwest elevation, there is a central door for the left cottage with a single window on either side. The right cottage has a central door that has been converted into a window, with single windows flanking it as well. All windows are aligned with the eaves course. A plaque from the National Trust for Scotland is located on the far right.

The northeast elevation is attached to 9 Mid Causeway. The southeast elevation has two windows on the left, two longer central windows, a window on the right, and a door at the far right. The southwest elevation features a plain gable and has a replacement timber gate that connects to a rubble garden wall on the right.

The rubble garden wall extends eastward from the gate at the southwest gable and turns northeast to enclose the garden. The building has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a timber boarded door, a pitched roof covered with clay pantiles, a corniced ridge, and a southwest gable stack with circular cans. The interior was not seen in 2001.
