Description
43-45 Bridge Street is an early 19th century terrace house that stands two storeys high with attics. It features three windows across its front and is slightly lower than the neighboring buildings on either side. The roof has been re-tiled with concrete tiles. The exterior is finished in droved ashlar stone, with a board band course at the first floor level and a string course at the cills of the first floor windows. The main entrance door is flanked by a window on each side, with a close door next to No 47. There are two small square piended dormers on the roof. The windows have been reglazed with single pane sashes. At the rear, there is a turnpike stair topped with a semi-conical roof, which has an entrance at half level accessed from an external stair.
