Description
Millhill House, located at 77 Millhill in Musselburgh, is a terrace house from the later 18th century that was remodeled in the mid-19th century. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring three windows across its front. It is characterized by rusticated quoins, a band course at the first-floor level, and a raised eaves course.
The entrance includes an architraved doorpiece with a shouldered lintel and a cornice supported by consoles above. On the left side, there are bipartite windows on both the ground and first floors, while the right side boasts a two-storey canted three-light bay window. The house has two canted dormers with two-pane sash windows, and the other windows are single-pane sashes. The roof is tall and slated, with end stacks.
At the rear, there is a turnpike stair topped with a semi-conical roof.
