Description
71 Millhill in Musselburgh is a pair of terrace houses from the later 18th century that have been partly remodeled. The houses are two stories tall with attics and each has two windows. At the ground floor, there are later canted three-light bays with facetted roofs. The exterior features simple corniced doorpieces and is harled with raised window margins and an eaves course. The roofs have straight skews with scrolled skew ends, and there is a modern flat-tiled roof with one canted and one square gablet dormer for each house. The windows have been reglazed with single pane sashes. Inside, notable features include a curved balustraded stair and a good Adam style chimney piece.
