Description
54 Millhill in Musselburgh is a mid-18th century single-storey cottage that faces the street with its gable. The cottage is five bays long, featuring a doorway that is flanked on the left by three windows and one window on the right. There is one window facing the street and another on the rear elevation. The exterior is harled with raised margins around the windows and door. The roof is pantiled, with an end stack, skews, and a square skew end that faces the street. Above the eaves, there are three courses of slates, and a small square modern dormer is located at the rear. The cottage has three windows with six-pane sashes, while the other windows have been reglazed with single-pane sashes.
