Description
No 38 in Auchmithie is an early 19th century single-storey cottage featuring three bays. The central door is flanked by single windows, each with 4-pane sash and case glazing. The exterior is finished with white-painted harl and has black-painted margins and cills. The cottage has a slate roof with raised block skewputts and end stacks. There is a window to the right in the left-hand gable, also with 4-pane sash and case glazing, and a small attic window above it, positioned asymmetrically. An addition of a glass and timber porch is located at the entrance bay. The property is enclosed by a low Fyffe-stone boundary wall, and there is a flat-roofed garage addition at the left-hand gable end.
