Description
12 North High Street in Portsoy is a cottage built in the mid to late 18th century. It is a single-storey structure with a dormerless attic and features an entrance gable facing the street. The exterior is harled, with a narrow, slightly off-centre doorway and a small attic window above it. There are two windows in the east gable and a small attic light. The front door is panelled, and the timber sash windows have 12-pane glazing, while the attic lights have 4- and 6-pane glazing. The cottage has crowstepped gables and renewed end chimney stacks topped with early 19th-century coping. The roof is made of pantiles with a slate easing course.
