Description
4 North High Street in Portsoy is a house from the later 18th century that was remodelled around 1840. It has two storeys and a dormerless attic, featuring three bays with a central door. The front is finished in red harling, with rubble return gables and painted ashlar margins. The entrance is centrally located, and the windows are timber sash and case with four-pane glazing. There are modern roof lights, flat skews with run-off skewputts, coped end stacks, and a slate roof. Attached to the south gable is a single-storey, single-bay rubble extension that has a flat roof and a wallhead blocking course, with a single front window also featuring four-pane glazing.
