Description

51 George Street in Whithorn is a house from the later 18th century, featuring two storeys and two bays. The exterior has modern harled walling with painted raised margins, angles, and a basecourse. To the right, there is a door with a fanlight above it, and the windows are single light. The ground floor window has been enlarged in the 19th century and now features modern, fixed, bowed 12-pane glazing. All windows are sash and case, with plate glass glazing on the ground floor and 12-pane glazing on the first floor. The house has tall coped end stacks.
