Description
34 George Street in Whithorn is a terraced house dating from around 1800. It is two stories high and has three bays. The exterior features rubble whinstone walling with painted raised margins and long and short quoins on the left side. There are steps leading up to a central doorway, which has a recessed door and an astragalled fanlight above it. All the windows are sash and case style with 12-pane glazing. The building has a raised base and eaves courses, along with a moulded eaves course.
The roof is covered with graded slate and includes sandstone skews and ridge, as well as coped end stacks.
