Description
28 George Street in Whithorn is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. The exterior is made of painted rubble with polished raised margins and dressings.
On the ground floor, there are close and house doorways to the right, with the house door featuring a well-crafted astragalled fanlight. All windows are set within raised margins and are sash and case style with plate glass glazing.
A band course runs above the ground floor and at the eaves, complemented by a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is covered with graded slate, and features sandstone ridges, skews, and skewputts, along with coped end stacks.
