Description
The Central Cafe, located at 17 George Street in Whithorn, is a modest two-storey, three-bay house that dates back to the late 18th century, although it has been altered over time. The exterior features harled walling with raised painted margins and angles. The central entrance has a door with a fanlight above it, and there are enlarged modern plate glass windows flanking the door. On the first floor, there are two single light windows in the outer bays, which have modern aluminium top-hung windows. The building has a raised base course, an eaves band, and slate roofs. Additionally, there are rendered end stacks and two Velux rooflights.
