Description

8 George Street in Whithorn is a late 18th century, two-storey house with an irregular three-bay design. The exterior is harled, featuring raised painted margins and a basecourse. The doorway is off-centre and includes a recessed door with a fanlight above it. All the windows are sash and case with plate glass glazing.

The house has end skews, skewputts, and coped end stacks with thackstanes. The roof is covered with slate, and there is a sandstone ridge.
