Description
Ivy House, located at 65-67 High Street in Moffat, is a low two-storey house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, although it has been significantly altered over time. The building features an irregular four-bay front that is rendered with painted dressings. The first-floor windows have been enlarged and partly raised above the eaves. There is an off-centre modern door framed by a simple architrave, with small flanking windows. To the south, there is a corbelled three-light canted bay window supported by brackets. In the centre, there is a squared bipartite window set in a gabled bay, and to the north, there is another corbelled canted three-light window on the first floor. The roof is gabled and slated.
