Description

55 and 57 High Street in Musselburgh is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high with attics. The ground floor features a shop and the façade is three windows wide. It is constructed from painted droved ashlar with raised margins and an eaves band course, topped with corniced eaves. The shop front has been modernized and includes a passage door at the left end. There are two traditional canted dormers, and the windows have been reglazed with both single and double-pane sashes.
