Description
The Musselburgh Arms Hotel is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys high with attics and features three irregularly spaced windows. The ground floor has two later bipartite windows and two doors. The building is constructed of painted coursed rubble with a slate roof, and it has a raised plinth and band courses at the first floor, as well as raised cills and eaves at the first and second floors. The main door is framed by a pilastered doorpiece, although it lacks a cornice. There are two Victorian canted dormers on the roof, and all windows have been reglazed with single pane sash designs.
