Description

Thornylee Cottage is a late 18th century, two-storey, two-bay terrace house located on Main Street in West Saltoun. The building is constructed from rubble with heavy pointing. The doorway is situated to the right of the west elevation, with a narrow window on either side and one window in each bay on the first floor. At the rear, there is a piend-roofed projection with lower eaves. The cottage features modern windows and is topped with red pantiles. The original stacks have been removed.
