Description

Milton Bridge, built around 1805, is a single span segmentally arched bridge that crosses the Milton Water. It is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone, featuring ashlar voussoirs and a string course along the arch, as well as droved coping on the gently gabled parapet. The span of the bridge is approximately 42 feet, with set-offs at the banks and two pairs of droved drum piers that terminate the parapets.
