Description
Lennoxlove, built around 1680, features extensive boundary walls that enclose the grounds of Lennoxlove House, covering over 1 square mile. The walls are constructed from random sandstone rubble, primarily topped with ridged coping. They generally stand about 7 feet high. Most field entrances have gatepiers that are square in section, made from broached rubble and topped with pyramidal caps. Some sections along the southeast are ruinous or damaged.
