Description
The Garden Gateway at Lennoxlove was designed by architect Robert Lorimer in 1912. It is located to the south of the main house and leads to the formal gardens created in the 20th century. The gateway features twin gatepiers that are square in shape and made of hammer-faced sandstone rubble. Each gatepier has a moulded cornice and is topped with ball finials that are adorned with putti. The gateway is completed by highly decorative wrought-iron gates.
