The Royal Esk, 130 High Street, 128, Musselburgh

The Royal Esk is an early 19th century building located at 130 High Street, 128, Musselburgh. It stands three storeys tall with attics and features a pub on the ground floor. The facade is three windows wide and is rendered with raised margins around the windows and doors, along with band courses below the first floor cills and a cornice topped with a blocking course. There is a modern fascia below the band course.

On the ground floor, the small paned windows have been widened, and the heads of these windows and the door have been lowered. The first and second floor windows have been reglazed with single pane sashes. The first floor windows also feature small, bowed, cast-iron balconies. The building has a slate roof with end stacks and includes two square piended dormers, each with 6 pane sashes.
