Description

1 Shorthope Street in Musselburgh is an early 19th century, two-storey house. The first floor features two widely spaced windows, while the ground floor has a minor door with a doorpiece supported by attached Roman Doric columns, a mutulated cornice, and a block pediment. The exterior is rendered with raised margins around the windows, which have been reglazed with single pane sashes. The house has a slate ridge roof and an ashlar end stack at the gable.
