Description
This building at 134 High Street in Musselburgh dates from the early 19th century and is two stories tall with three bays. The ground floor features a shop and is constructed from irregularly coursed rubble, which has raised margins around the windows and a band course below the corniced eaves. On the right side of the ground floor, there is a wide segmental arched pend that has raised imposts and keyblocks, along with a central fluted cast iron bollard made from an inverted lamp standard. The shop front and signage are modern, while the first-floor windows have been reglazed with double-pane timber sash and cases. The steep slate roof is topped with end chimneystacks, with the right-hand stack being lowered and rendered.
