Description

The gatepiers at Old Mansion House in Newbyth were designed by Archibald Elliott in 1817. They are made of square Cullaloe ashlar and feature crenellations. The gatepiers have outer buttresses and include blind arrow slits with chamfered arrises on the east and west sides, as well as small blank shields.
