Description

The gatepiers at Cargen Grove, associated with Cargen House, likely date from the early 19th century. They consist of two tall, square gatepiers with cornices and ball finials, which are positioned on steps. The gatepiers are made of painted ashlar and have been checked for gates, although the existing gates are not original.
