Description
1 Farm Cottages in Crauchie are early 19th century single-storey cottages that have been later raised with dormers to create an attic space. The cottages are constructed from random rubble with ashlar dressings. They are now divided into two residences, with entrances located at the rear. The original doorways at the front have been replaced by windows. There are eight windows on the ground floor and four piend-roofed dormers in the attic. At the rear, there are four doorways and windows, along with modern skylights in the attic.
The cottages feature sash and case windows with a 9-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with red pantiles, some of which have been renewed, and has straight skews and a mutual stack.
