Description
Tai Newyddion is a row of cottages built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble stonework and have slated roofs. The design suggests they were originally intended as two pairs of cottages, each featuring shared raised dormer windows on the upper floor. Each cottage consists of a single bay and has 16-pane sash windows on both floors, along with a lateral door. The chimney stacks are positioned on the party walls, and the raised dormers have sloping roofs.
The cottages have modern glazing, and there is a painted hardwood door hung to the original frame with an overlight. The ground floor window and the dormer of the cottage are linked to that of No 1.
