Description
Tai Newyddion is a row of cottages built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble stonework and feature slated roofs. The cottages may have originally been designed as two pairs, each with shared raised dormer windows on the upper floor. Each cottage consists of a single bay and has 16-pane sash windows on both floors, along with a lateral door. The chimney stacks are located on the party walls, and the raised dormers have sloping roofs.
No 1, located at the western end, has one original 16-pane sash window on the ground floor and two in a single raised dormer on the first floor, which continues across No 2. There is a modern part-glazed door.
