Description
The Feathers Inn is a two-storey building constructed of rubble stonework, with pebbledash sections between decorative smooth rendered bands and architraves around the doors and windows. It features a sill string, lintels, a plinth band, and quoins. The building has three window bays and an attached single-storey wing on the west, which has been altered in the 20th century. The roof is slate with gable stacks. The central entrance consists of a bead-panelled door with a glazed panel and an overlight, while the recessed windows are 16-pane sash style. To the east end, there is a long and prominent range of white painted outbuildings extending south.
Inside, the front door leads into a stair hall, with living rooms, which serve as bars, located to the right and left. The interior features an open joisted ceiling and a gable fireplace made of painted stone.
