Description

The Haddington Obelisk, built in 1856, is made of red sandstone ashlar and stands on a square pedestal. It features an inscribed commemorative panel dedicated to the 6th Earl of Haddington. The obelisk is located to the west of Tyninghame House, near a ha-ha, and was erected in honor of the chief patron of the landscaped grounds.
