Description

Mid-later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay former

bakehouse with central projecting wing at rear, built on

falling ground to Bridge End.

W ELEVATION: to Bridge End. Former doorway to left of

centre blocked as window with window to right. Windows

in outer bays at ground. 3 windows at 1st floor.

End gable to N harled with window at ground floor left.

Remains of oven abutting at ground.

Entrance from Mill Wynd to rear wing; doorway with window

to right.

Sash and case windows, predominantly 12-pane glazing

pattern.

Red pantiles, straight skews, harled gable end stacks,

brick stack to rear wing.
