Description
Farm Lodge at Dunglass House is an early 19th-century building that was modified to an L-plan layout later in the century. It is constructed of random rubble sandstone with droved ashlar dressings and features heavy pointing.
The entrance elevation has three bays and is situated on sloping ground. It includes a central two-leaf door, flanked by small windows in the outer bays. The road elevation features two bays, with a window to the right in the original cottage and another window to the left in the extension.
At the rear, there is a harled, flat-roofed addition set in a re-entrant. The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The building has piend roofs covered with grey slates and lead flashings, along with swept eaves. There is a central stack on the original lodge, with a wallhead to the later arm at the rear.
