Description

Early 19th century, made L-plan late in century. Random

rubble sandstone with droved ashlar dressings, heavily

pointed.

ENTRANCE ELEVATION: 3-bay, set on falling ground; 2-leaf door

at centre, flanked by small windows in outer bays.

ROAD ELEVATION: 2-bay; window to right in original cottage to

left in the extension.

Harled, flat-roofed addition set in re-entrant at rear.

12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Piend roofs

with grey slates and lead flashings; swept eaves. Centre

stack to original lodge, with wallhead to later arm at rear.
