Description

Bilsdean Bridge, probably designed by George Burn around 1800, features two segmental spans, each approximately 20 feet wide. The bridge is constructed of coursed rubble, with bull-faced stone at the central pier and on the keystones of the southern span. It has a moulded surround framing a blank medallion positioned between the arches. Below the crenellated and coped parapet, there is a band course.
