Description
North Belton is a farmhouse dating from around 1800, featuring two storeys and a basement with three bays. The building is constructed from random red sandstone rubble, accented with painted ashlar margins and an eaves course.
The entrance elevation includes a corniced doorway with a two-leaf door and a decorative fanlight. A modern conservatory porch has been added on a rubble base, which oversails the basement. There are three first-floor windows and taller windows flanking the door on the ground floor.
On the rear elevation, there are two stair windows at the center, with additional windows in the basement, ground, and first-floor outer bays. An off-centre doorway is located to the left. A modern lean-to conservatory has also been added here. The sash and case windows feature a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is a slate piend with lead flashings, and broad ashlar end stacks are present. A rubble boundary wall encloses the garden by the southeast entrance elevation.
