Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey T-plan farmhouse. Red

sandstone rubble with some harl pointing; ashlar

dressings and base course.

E-W WING: deep-set door at centre of S elevation with

stone bracketted canopy and fanlight. Windows in

flanking bays and to each bay at 1st floor above. Gable

and elevations with window to each floor to N side.

N-S WING: adjoined to E-W wing at rear. 2-bays deep

and gabled, with lean-to porch set in re-entrant angle to

W. 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows.

Ashlar coped skews and end stacks; grey slates.
