Description
Longforgan Farmhouse is an early 19th-century, two-storey farmhouse with a rectangular plan and lower wings at the rear. The exterior is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings that have been rendered in concrete and stugged, topped with a slate roof. It features 12-pane sash and case windows, a deep concrete wallhead course, and gabled dormer windows on the first floor, along with end stacks.
On the southeast elevation, there is a door with an astragalled fanlight and a slated half-piended canopy porch at the slightly advanced, gabled center bay. Windows are present on both the ground and first floors to the left and right of this central entrance.
The east and west gables are blank. The northeast elevation includes a half-piended wing to the right, which has another lower half-piended wing and various windows. To the left, there is a gable with an additional lower half-piended brick addition, along with a door and various windows.
The interior has not been seen.
