Description

The Jaw in Bardowie is an 18th century cottage and a barn, dated 1803, that together create an L-shaped layout around a garden court. The cottage is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring 20th century bipartite dormers on the northwest side, a central door, and two 6-pane sash and case windows facing the court. The barn is also single-storey with a loft, which includes a circular stair turret that opens to the court and a segmentally arched pend on the left. Both structures are built from whitewashed rubble and have slated roofs.
