Description
93-95 Main Street in Newmilns is a building dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is a two-storey, four-bay structure with white painted harl and windows that have irregular black margins. A shop has been inserted on the left side, featuring a timber and glass fascia, and the left corner is canted. All windows, except for the shop, are two-pane sash and case. The right window on the ground floor has been slightly enlarged at the head. There are two small piended dormers with slated roofs and sides, each containing four-pane sash and case windows at the front. The building has two small chimney stacks on the ridge, with one on the right having been rebuilt in brick. The roof is slate.
