Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay traditional terraced house with further 2-bay extension / house turning corner at angle to N, now united. Harled with ashlar dressings, quoin strips and eaves course.

NW ELEVATION: 3-bay house with block pedimented door to centre, deep-set door with fanlight, windows above and flanking. 2 bays angled to left with door to outer left (former pend, with fanlight) and window to right and with tall window at centre at 1st floor above.

SE ELEVATION: flush 4-bay wall with regular fenestration, lean-to addition at ground to left.

NE ELEVATION: adjoined to later, taller terraced house, No 30 High Street. SW ELEVATION: adjoined to roofless end of terrace house, 24 High Street.

Windows blocked (1999). Gablehead stack to mutual gable. Grey slates.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.
