Description

Later 18th century with later alterations and early 20th century addition to rear. Single-storey and attic, 3-bay cottage (No 72) and adjoining 2-bay cottage (No 74) with 20th century gabled dormers to attic and ridge stacks. Roughcast render with painted ashlar margins. Projecting cills. Raised window and door margins. Timber panelled door to No 72; half-glazed timber panelled door to No 74. Bipartite windows; dormers to attic. Slate-hung gable to No 74.

Timber sash and case windows with 2-pane glazing to upper sashes and plate glass to lower sashes of No 74; late 20th century glazing in similar pattern to No 72; late 20th century glazing to dormers. Rendered stacks with assorted yellow clay cans. Graded grey slate. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
