Description

18-22 Union Street in Dundee is an earlier 19th century, four-storey and attic tenement building featuring three bays and shops on the ground floor. The structure is made of sandstone ashlar with cement dressings and has a slate roof. The ground floor has a cornice, and there is a corniced blocking course at the top. The first-floor windows, which were originally architraved and corniced, have been cut back and rendered with cement. The second-floor windows are architraved, while the third-floor windows are margined. The building includes canted dormers, with original 12-pane timber sash and case glazing on the third floor and dormers, and 2-pane windows on the second floor. The first floor features 2-pane windows over a single pane. The ridge has stacks.

On the front elevation, there is a close door in the center flanked by two altered shopfronts. Each upper floor has three windows, and there are two dormers.

The interior has not been seen.
