5 Windsor Place, Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee

5 Windsor Place is a two-storey, symmetrical terrace of houses dated circa 1835-40, constructed in ashlar stone. The terrace, comprising numbers 1 to 6 inclusive, stands on Magdalen Yard Road in Dundee. It is designed in a neo-classical style. The end houses, numbers 1 and 6, are three-bay structures featuring four-columned porticos. The central houses are two-window wide, with single porticos to the recessed houses; the two central houses share a paired, four-columned portico. Each window is framed by an architrave. A continuous cornice runs along the roofline, topped by a balustraded parapet. Chimney stacks rise from the roof. Number 1 has an attic space with two dormer windows. Number 6 has a simplified three-bay elevation facing Windsor Street, also with a balustraded parapet.
