6 Windsor Place, Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee

Dating to around 1835-40, 6 Windsor Place is a two-storey, symmetrical neo-classical terrace built of ashlar stone. The terrace comprises six houses, numbered inclusively from 1 to 6. The design is symmetrical, with fluted Doric-columned porticos providing entranceways. Windows are set within architraves. The end houses have a three-bay facade and feature four-columned porticos, while the central houses have a two-window facade, with single porticos to the recessed houses. The two central houses boast a paired four-columned portico. A continuous cornice runs along the building, surmounted by a balustraded parapet. Chimney stacks are visible on the roof ridge. Number 1 has an attic with two dormers. Number 6 presents a simpler three-bay elevation to Windsor Street, also featuring a balustraded parapet.
